Under challenging circumstances, the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art opts for a radical format and changes its structure: the biennale will be condensed into ten days. Artistic, discursive and reflective moments will shape the space. Located in the Pavilion No.1 of VDNKh, it is here that the Moscow Biennale will evolve, as a think tank in real time.

Choy Lee, Weng

Weng Choy Lee is an art critic. He studied physics, philosophy and literature before moving to Singapore. His writing on contemporary art has been widely published. In lectures on cultural studies, essays and talks he focuses on Asia and Asian art in the global realm as well as current strategies of cultural practice.

As a special contributor to the Moscow Biennale, Lee Weng Choy mediated, fed and reprocessed the biennial on site. In addition to this, he collaborated with Ho Tzu Nyen on his contribution to the project.
