Anton Vidokle is an artist and co-founder of e-flux. He has written a number of articles and has produced projects as The Next Documenta Should Be Curated by an Artist (curated by Jens Hoffmann), Do it (curated by Hans-Ulrich Obrist), and Utopia Station (poster project). Anton Vidokle’s contribution to Moscow Biennale 2015 is a mixture of screening and performance. The Communist Revolution Was Caused by the Sun is a video in which Vidokle deepens his research on Russian cosmism and presents the argument of Alexander Chizhevsky who claimed human history (such as wars, revolutions etc.) is caused by activity of the sun.
